Our elected bargaining committee met this past week to continue preparations for our first meeting with the Rockefeller administration
We are excited to announce that our first bargaining session with the Rockefeller University administration is scheduled for March 4, 2025!
This is a major milestone in our efforts to secure fairer working conditions at Rockefeller. Our strength comes from all of our collective efforts to win our union by an overwhelming 69% vote. We showed our commitment to attaining a strong contract with majority participation in the bargaining survey and our vote to ratify our initial bargaining goals by 99%. Continued participation by a majority of postdocs will become even more important as we begin negotiations with the Rockefeller administration.
We will hold a Town Hall on March 6th at 12pm in the Carson Family Auditorium, after our first session. Join us to meet with other postdocs, hear an update on our first meeting with Rockefeller, and get answers to any questions you may have. Click here to RSVP for the Town Hall.
