Join researchers across the city in protesting NIH funding cuts at 4PM today in Washington Square Park! Members of the Rockefeller community will be meeting at the 66th St. main gate at 3:30PM to head down together.

RSVP for the rally here!

Public research and higher education are under attack. Since inauguration day, the new administration has frozen federal funding, eliminated funding for climate research and systemically underrepresented researchers, and defunded university research programs by slicing NIH indirect cost rates. Labor for Higher Education, a coalition of labor organizers across the country, have called for a National Day of Action today to launch a national movement to fight back against the devastation to our education and research institutions, our careers, and our local economies.

On February 19th, academic workers across NYC and around the country are taking action to defend our work and research in the public interest.
