The NLRB just finished counting ballots and we voted by an overwhelming 69% (167-yes to 75-no), in favor of United Postdoctoral Researchers of Rockefeller-UAW (UPROR-UAW) as our union!
We will have more information soon regarding next steps in our campaign. For now, we want to thank everyone who participated in our historic election and in the months of discussion, debate, and outreach among postdocs that lead to this point.
Together, we have finally won the right to determine our role as postdocs at the University, taking an unprecedented stand for the value of the work we do here at Rockefeller.
We will be celebrating our victory this evening from 8pm onwards at Faculty Club. We hope to see you there!
