Since Inauguration Day, federal funding for research has come under attack. Massive cuts to institutions such as the NIH and NSF have rocked the scientific and healthcare community, with potentially devastating effects on research progress, healthcare outcomes and scientific training. Early career scientists such as postdocs may be especially hard hit.
On Friday, March 7, show that scientists will not accept reckless attacks on our institutions by taking part in Stand Up For Science. This is a nationwide action to defend science as a public good and pillar of social, political and economic progress.

A group from Rockefeller will be meeting at 12 PM outside of the main gate at 66th and York to travel to the rally together.
All are welcome at the rally – please invite graduate students, technicians, support stuff and HOLs. Please bring signs on cardboard or posterboard to show your support!
